I finished c25k last week and Iβm very pleased. I even managed an actual 5k in less than 30minutes which I wasnβt expecting. Consolidate and then 10K next.
Outstanding stuff well done MissUnderstanding I reckon you're most definitely in the hurtling hare category πππ
Enjoy those consolidation runs, mix it up and enjoy the variation you can now apply to your running and I think you'll progress nicely towards that 10k goal π₯³
Well, I ran for just over 30 mins on Saturday so I reckon that qualifies as finishing the C25K programme. Hope so, anyway! Now to keep on running and consolidate...πββοΈ
Graduated - yeah ! Completed my final run today and felt strong and free! An amazing programme . My next challenge is to run with someone ( Iβve been so embarrassed as I run so slow and still cannot hold a conversation! ) and then build to a park run in about 4-6 weeks methinks !
Brilliant running, who said slow is embarrassing .... Certainly not us your speed is perfect ππ, that conversational speed will come, just trying slowing it down a bit
Feeling a little tearful! It was my third attempt and, having given up at week 3 twice before, I honestly didnβt think that today would come. But it has and I am so proud.
Thanks for the support from everyone on the forum. I few words of encouragement and/or a like makes all the difference.
Morning, I completed week 9 on Friday and managed 4k in 30 mins and repeated again this morning. Thanks for this wonderful forum and the support is amazing. On with my consolidation runs.
I graduated today, managing a little over 5k in 30mins. This forum has been excellent throughout helping me to achieve my first fitness related challenge!
Hi,I finished the program yesterday and would like to claim my virtual badgeπ. I can't believe I can run for 30 minutes and maintain normal breathing. I can't wait to see how much more I can challenge myself and achieve.
Good morning!I'm delighted to report that I have just completed my final run of the programme. Definitely not a hare but a very happy bunny nonetheless.
What a great programme this is. Such a simple structure yet so effective and this forum is a big part of that.
Hello, I've graduated C25k today, finished with a very slow but sunny local Park Run to set me up for continuing on. Please could I have my badge then I might believe it too!
I finished my W9R3 run today, March 20th. This is the second time around (the first one was March 13th, 2021). I would like to get my badge this time, please!
I graduated today and managed to run the full 5k. Sadly not within the 30 minutes set aside by Laura but I'm still chuffed with how far I've come. Could I have my graduation badge please, thanks.
Hi .. I finished the C25K programme a couple of weeks ago, only just jumped back on here to update on my progress, have been advised to reply to this thread so I can join the graduate club
Please can I have a graduate badge π completed the program this week, then finally completed a parkrun 5k while pushing my son in the buggy! 42m31s of pure hell but I can't wait to do it again next weekend and hopefully improve on my time.π₯°
I graduated today and have loved it throughout. I had Jo Whiley and she magically got me through this. Iβve caught the running bug and intend on carrying on and achieving more! Feeling so great at the moment! Can I request my badge please? T.I.A.
Hi There I finished c25k last week with my 3 x 30 min runs. Not quite reaching 5K in that time, but just thrilled to be able to run again after thinking I never would again.
Hi π I finished my C25K on Friday 1st April - and it was such an amazing feeling - I am a runner and long may it continue - thank you for all the support from everyone x
