Getting pretty consistent at these longer runs.

Although I think my pace must be slow as I'm only covering just over 3k with a 25min run.

But I guess it's all about consolidation now and trying to raise my speed once the program is completed.

On a lighter note I'm back in the UK next week for a while so I won't have to dig myself out of the house each day

And, speaking as the original Grey Snail, I can tell you, that the more running you do after Graduation, and consolidation, especially the slower, longer, relaxed runs, the more everything evolves... distance and yes, if you wish it, speed too :)

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.

Be reassured that running at an easy conversational pace builds your aerobic base more effectively than running faster.

Don't worry about distance, sounds like your doing just fine !and consolidation would start after graduation ideally for around 3 weeks before trying to increase either pace or distance

Thats picture perfect. Well done on getting out and running in that amount of snow..thats a win! I have learnt in this forum to not to worry about distances.

Judging by your previous photos of the conditions you've been running in, you're doing really well Geimfarinn . In any case, going slower is going to help you more in the long run (pun intended) than speeding up.
