And, speaking as the original Grey Snail, I can tell you, that the more running you do after Graduation, and consolidation, especially the slower, longer, relaxed runs, the more everything evolves... distance and yes, if you wish it, speed too

Don't worry about distance, sounds like your doing just fine !and consolidation would start after graduation ideally for around 3 weeks before trying to increase either pace or distance
Thats picture perfect. Well done on getting out and running in that amount of snow..thats a win! I have learnt in this forum to not to worry about distances.
Judging by your previous photos of the conditions you've been running in, you're doing really well Geimfarinn . In any case, going slower is going to help you more in the long run (pun intended) than speeding up.
