You're doing just fine. The programme aims to get you running for 30 minutes non stop. You are two weeks away from smashing it. It should really be called C230Min but that's not as catchy. Your speed is fine. Don't push it.
Do NOT I repeat do NOT worry about how far you're running, distance/pace is something to come later just be incredibly proud of yourself for running for as long as you are.
Hey badger 1974 I think it is a case of trial and error on the pace. After graduating I tried to run to the nhs podcast with Virtual Laura in order to consolidate my runs and found it too difficult. She was much slower than me and insisted on counting your steps for you. It became a really hard run for me to go that slow. Conversely before I graduated I worried that I wouldn’t ever make the 5k running for half an hour - before I joined this forum and realised that wasn’t the point - I tried upping the pace a bit and was too exhausted to complete the run. Having graduated a couple of weeks ago I still don’t make 5 k in 30 mins but I’m not bothered either. My pace is good and I can work on improving it each time and more importantly I’m comfortable which makes for a more enjoyable run. Have fun working it out.
Did you look back at this post. Well done on getting there. I switched my Strava from including warm up and cool down in December and it forced me to increase my distance. Also gave me a much better idea of my pace. Keep going and enjoy the longer runs.
