London Winter Run 10k & 800 runs post C25K graduation

This is such a great event, about 12,000 runners, choirs, bands, penguins, huskies, volunteers and crowds all combining to make a fantastic atmosphere. I graduated C25K nearly 3 years ago and this is my 800th run since then. Before then as they say, I couldn't run for the bus, but now at the ripe old age of 61 I can knock out a decent 10k time. So for those of you just starting out, stick with it, the benefits are fantastic. Special thanks as always to the inspirational ju-ju- and all my virtual and now actual running friends.

Ah well done! I love the photo of you running with a huge grin on your face. It looks like you had really good fun. Congratulations! 😊

Thanks, I had to smile my daughter and her boyfriend turned out to support me ( and took the photo) so I had to smile, but it was a joyous occasion throughout.

Congratulations on completing your London Winter Run 10K in a very good time of 01:06:53, you should be very proud of yourself, perhaps you could consider running in The London Vitality Virtual 10,000 in May or maybe even run it through the streets of London..
