Loving my running post C25K graduation

I’m progressing and working through my new program (5 to 10k) which I’m thoroughly enjoying. It seems to have a good structure and is definitely moving me on. My final run of this week is a 35 minute ‘steady’ run and so it’s perfect for my first park run which I’m looking forward to. I achieved my second 5k last Friday. My time was great (for me), it was on the flat and I did it as a caniX with my two dogs. I wouldn’t say they aided me by pulling me but they definitely are excellent pacemakers. Good luck everyone running this week 😊

Great company too. High energy dogs are useful for runners 😃

Well done! Sounds like you’re doing brilliantly. Take care now 👍 No rush

Great running. 10k doesn’t take too long to get to from 5... did you parkrun with the dogs? Some runs allow it.. but you get “assisted” next to your time. If my last dog had come on one “hindered” would be a better word.

Ha ha. True. The dog I get dragged along by, zig zags the whole time on the lead 🙄. Is it a hound thing 🤷‍♀️ Not conducive to any kind of running We get by though 😁🙈

Speaking of which, i’m Just off to collect him 🙂🐕

Brilliant HD! Sounds like you are on a roll! 👏👏

My dog psychologically helps me up hills. She doesn’t pull, but she’s slightly ahead so it gives me the impression she’s towing me! Every little helps! 🏃‍♀️🐕🏃‍♀️🐕

It’s great running with pooches isn’t it? ❤️

Sounds fantastic! What 5 to 10K programme are you following btw? I’ll need one soon and wondered what others recommend.

Well done to you. Lucky you can take your dogs, my two collies bark at me and want me to stop running, they must think I’m nuts, they are probably right. Good luck with future runs.

You’ve got a fantastic fast pace if I read that photo right. Which programme are you using? I haven’t found anything that works for me post Couch25k yet.

5K to 10K by Active Network, LLC itunes.apple.com/gb/app/5k-...

That was fastest I’ve run for sure. Pace making from friends and my dogs. Enjoyed it but couldn’t do that every time 😬
