Yep now Iβm in first week of the rest of my life if you see what I mean! This running thing has rapidly become something I look forward to. I think it might be making me more resilient to stress.....has anyone else found that? Iβm coping with stuff at work that wouldβve floored me before. Now I secretly go βhuh! I can RUN (a bit!) so I can definitely do THIS thingβ π
First post graduation run. I love C25K π - Couch to 5K
First post graduation run. I love C25K π
I do agree with you Jerichomile regarding running as a stress reliever/buster, many people find that running does relieve work stress, your title "I love C25K ." yes, who does NOT love C25K? π.
Wow, another gorgeous photo - I am getting runners' envy today with everyone's lovely running spots! Well done for completing the first run of the rest of your life - the first of many, many more!
I could post one of the grey, lamppost lined pavement street where I usually run π
I'll post one from my graduation run tomorrow - heading to a local beauty spot for it so might take a few, can't wait!
Thatβs a great way of describing it, and yes me too, nothing stresses me out now.
That's a beautiful photo, what a lovely place to run! Well done on graduation ππππ
Running is great for stress and mental health ππ
Thanks Shar71, howβs your running journey?
It's an amazing journey I have undertaken and hopefully a journey that will continue for many years, there are so many benefits to be had from running, mentally and physically, I'm currently on wk7 r3 tomorrow and looking forward to graduation which is not the end its just the beginning π
Congrats Jerichomile π C25K loves you too π
Running is a known stress-buster, I'm glad it's been doing that for you!
I'm sure most people you bump into at work couldn't run as far as you can!
Get joined to the Bridge to 10k and see where you want to take your running next πΎπππ
Beautiful photo , that looks amazing. I definitely agree with the stress relief.
My dad is retired now but he had a very stressful job and used to run each lunch time as we lived so close to his work and recently he told me he needed to do that.
Hi Jerichomile, congratulations on your first post graduation run.Iβm going to do my w8r3 a bit later. And yes...I thought maybe just me...but...Iβve a new found confidence too!I am attempting things in a completely different mindset.Lovely photo!
Oooh I have location envy. Stunning photo π how's the consolidation going?
Oops........π to be honest Iβve struggled....I missed last week out altogether. Mixture of tired and got derailed by some stress stuff. Iβm going out today though and will do W9 again to restart consolidation. Thanks so much for asking. Iβm a lone runner (not with a running group) so appreciate the community support! Send me some encouragement?!? Thanks.
