I keep getting pain on the top of my foot. I can stand on it without pain, but it hurts to point or flex my toes. Running seems to make it worse. Any ideas to prevent it and/or to make it get better quicker?

In my official capacity as an unqualified random stranger on an internet forum 😉, I'd suggest you check you're not lacing your shoes too tight, just in case it's that simple. If the pain persists, please do get professional advice.
