I thought I’d mark my final C25K with an atmospheric ‘night’ run on the hills behind my house in Snowdonia. It was very dark at 6.30pm, due to heavy cloud blotting out all stars and moonlight. I donned my headtorch and off I pootled into the misty drizzle/mizzle. Not a lot to see en route other than tummocks of wet grass, muddy puddles and the eyes of several very damp, bored looking sheep reflected back at me through the fog. I felt great though, my mind occupied by skipping (and occasionally tripping!) over the rough ground in the dark. The time and distance flew by, and I was soon back home to celebrate my C25K completion with a delicious prawn stir fry.
Thanks everyone for making this fantastic forum happen : )
