W5 R1 done

Hello.

I haven't been updating you as I was crazy busy at work. And to be honest it was difficult to fit runs. I would sometimes have 6 days break between runs!

But I've managed to complete all runs in w4!

3 days ago I started W5. Run1 felt good, I thought by having up to 6 days break between runs would mean I may struggle with W5, but I felt fine and what's important I still enjoy it! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

I am looking forward to R2.

Well done.

As stated in the guide to the plan, you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running. After that loss of condition is gradual.

Six day breaks, while not optimal for your development, will probably not be a serious hindrance.

Fit in what you can fit in and enjoying it is key to building the habit.

Well done on starting week 5 !Sometimes life gets in the way .

I was lucky with starting C25k during first lockdown so was ready and able to run every other day !

Now it's sometimes tricky being back at work , but we do what we can when we can .

As already mentioned 6 days may not be optimal for progressing through the program but it is what it is .

I've just recently had 4 weeks off due to a niggly hip and that's certainly set me back a bit with my running, but you know what , it's fine I'm building up again .

The main thing is we enjoy it !

Well done. Sometimes a little rests allows recuperation and a stronger run πŸ‘
