For those of you who read my last post, you will know that I was unsure as to whether or not I should move on to this run, after a bit of an inconsistent week in w4.
However, after a successful and controlled wk4 r3, i decided I had nothing to lose my moving forward. I'd see how it went and drop back if needed or alternatively, repeat w5 r1 if unsuccessful.
Anyway.... I only went and did it!!! I completed all of the runs, quick recovery in between run and it felt flipping fantastic!!
The last couple of minutes of the 3rd 5min run were a challenge, my legs felt like lead and i felt like i was really dragging my feet, but my breathing (for the most part) was in control and I believed in myself.
I'm feeling pretty proud that I'm battling my demons and my confidence issues and slowly but surely, plodding through the program.
Not really sure how I will manage 8 mins on run2 but I know i'm gona give it everything i've got π xx
