What a beautiful sunny morning to start off W5 R1. It is also my 2nd week of not smoking. I was a little anxious about todays running because I struggled through the 10k on Saturday. I did soon settle though as I don';t think anything I do right now could of been as hard as Saturdays running. I managed to complete all the runs with a little bit of steam left to run some of the way home as I had gone to far away from home. All in all a good running session, bring on W5 R2 ;-)

Well done!

Am a little jealous that it's such a nice day and I couldn't crack on with my running this morning.

Am running in spirit with you though!

Great positive post Belinda, and fantastic you are in week 2 of your quit programme. Very impressed you had steam left near the end. I have steam at the end, but it is rising from me in a hot cloud rather than firing me on ;)

Thanks Slookie, it has not been as hard as I have felt on previous times I have quit smoking. Ha Ha It was run or walk a long way home. steam was coming off me when I got inside, even the dog hid away ;-)

P.S. You might want to clean up 'The Runs' from your tags :D

Well done Belinda! Knew it would be an easy one for you today. I have woken up with a full blown cold today so will have to see if I can breathe tomorrow before Run 2. So grumpy cos I haven't had a cold in months
