So after my first messed up try, I tried again last night, and pretty much breezed through it. The hardest part of the run, was mentally trying to keep my jogging slow. I think I went a bit quick on the start of the 2nd 8min run, but seemed to slow to a steady speed again. There was even a moment when I was randomly looking about at the stars and moon, and not even thinking about what I was physically doing.
An even stranger thing is I feel like I could of kept going at the end of each 8min section. Which fills me with some confidence for the next run of 20minutes.
If I keep to the same speed that is.

Sounds like the perfect run...... Funny how we can do the run we were not happy about again and it is perfect. Sounds like you are all set up for the 20 minute run . Pacing I find is hard, not that my fastest running pace is beyond a brisk walk to some!
Yeah, I think it wasn't half bad. 😀 My failed run was too quick. Maybe as it was AM and a few more people around, perhaps, subconsciously I ran quicker to make myself look better. 🤣🤣. I dunno. Ire stick to night running for a bit longer. Its quite nice with only the owls and foxes for company. 🌜⭐🦉
