Week 5, attempt 2!

Hello all,

This is my first post on here. I've been doing really well with the app up until on Friday when I had to run for 20minutes. I was all psyched to go and unfortunately hit it to hard and to fast too quickly. Ended up with a stitch half way through and had to walk. I was so annoyed at myself!

I tried it again yesterday with a lot of hesitation but I did it! I even managed to increase my speed st the end! I was so happy!

Lesson learnt, slow and steady wins the race πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»πŸƒ

Very well done and some grit and determination shown too :)

Well done on completing the run. It provides me with hope and encouragement given that I've got that myself next week! Take care and stay safe, Neil

No... the runs are all steady progressions... you are ready for them as long as you take them slowly and steadily...

No once I found my right running pace I really enjoyed it. Try not to think of it as 20 but rather 4 blocks of 5min. It's a lot easier

Hooray!!!!! Very, very well done you!!

It is the only way.. no need for speed at this point... the legs need time to build up as does your stamina and strength!

Speed and distance may follow after Graduation if you wish it :) I know... I was the original Grey Snail...now.. well ... you might be surprised :)
