Yes! I completed the first run of graduation week. I went earlier than usual this morning to avoid the sun and heat and it was lovely. However, after halfway through, my left calf started to hurt a bit and I had to change my pace a little and concentrate on how I was landing, which helped a little. My left calf is weaker and a bit shorter since I ruptured my Achilles tendon on that side a few years ago, so I do have to be careful.
Otherwise, it was a good run, I got passed by two other runners who were motoring along. But I'm happy with my slow pace and proud that I've made it this far. That grad badge is in sight

That’s great Pigpog! I also set off earlier to avoid the heat and it looks like we were probably both out there at the same time. Look after that leg- only two more runs to graduation and I know you’ve got this! 🏃♀️😁😁
You've got it covered well done. I've been paying attention to the foot landing too. Take care with the Achilles, that must've been painful, it's great you can run with it now 😊
Thanks, tmbtrain . Yes, it was really painful at the time for several months, as I chose not to have surgery, but to let the tendon knit itself back together. I was in plaster for 3 months and OMG, was my leg hairy when it came out of the cast!!! 😂😂😂 Another reason to feel blessed that I can run but I will be taking it gingerly 😬
