Completed my first 30 minute run YAAAAY! Feeling super excellent and excited that I have 2 runs till graduation although I am going to repeat Week 9 until I can run 5k in 30 minutes (not ready to leave Sarah so soon)!
I struggled with breathing today which is weird because this has been fine. My pace didn't change and I covered .2km more than when my last 28 minute run which is about right. It was weirdly a bit muggy so maybe that was the problem? As soon as I got home it absolutely tipped it down and now it is a bit clearer so that is what I am assigning the lack of oxygen too!
Anyway that won't put me off, it was just a bad run so onwards and upwards!
Happy Sunday everyone

Well done you 👍. I’ve got wk 8 ahead so you’re an inspiration to me 😊x
Well done. Yes humidity is a factor as your body takes longer to cool down so if your pace was the same, you were working harder than when you ran the same pace in dry air.
Massive well done Hattie, I have this one tomorrow so it's very inspiring to hear you beating it despite the humidity too! I plan on repeating too until I can get the 5k within 30 as well. Hopefully won't be too far off
No I hope not. Need to remind myself that 5k in 30 minutes is a massive achievement so gotta focus on that once I’ve celebrated even being able to run for 30 minutes considering I struggled with 1 just 9 weeks ago. Good luck tomorrow 😁 you’ll smash it!
I knew you would swing by and answer my prayers! Thank you loads because that’s the answer I was hoping for! Yes absolutely - how many runs are recommended for consolidation? I have downloaded C25K+ for after graduation 👩🏻🎓
