Woo-hoo!!!! So pleased to have been able to complete this programme yesterday and managed to avoid heavy rain.
Like so many before me that have written on this platform at this stage - I am so proud/pleased/amazed that I managed this as I still remember 90 seconds of non stop running a significant challenge. This site has been invaluable in helping me overcome many of the barriers and challenges I would face and for that a big thank you.
Anyone reading this and not yet complete, and having any doubts - you can do this; just follow the programme and repeat where you need to. My speed was very slow compared to others, but compared to me I was continuously improving.
I am hoping that I maintain the motivation to run 3x a week regularly.

Really well done you!I did w9r2 this morning so am looking forward to completing the programme this week. I did notice a fleeting thought about 'Will I carryon running after the last run of this programme?' But know that this is just a thought! Good luck with your next part of the process xx
Well done - it’s really exciting when you do that last run.
I did my first non C5k run this morning and it was really hard to run without someone saying ‘your half-way’ or ‘just 5 mins’ 🤣 I managed 30 mins and have mentally decided to keep trying to run 3x a week and slowly hit the 5k goal.
