After never being able to run, I managed W5R3 at the grand young age of 60 - so pleased and happy! Reading everyone’s posts about their achievements has really helped my journey- thanks to all of you.

Well done you, 20 minutes non stop that's brilliant. You should be so pleased 😊

Great running... and now we all have your achievement today to inspire us too. I find posts like this one really keep me going on my long runs, yesterday you guys all got me through my 5 mile hilly run.

That’s the milestone run done... the run that says more than any other “you can do this.” Week six starts with interval runs that look like a step back at first glance... but if you consider the brisk walking is also cardio, you’ll see they are longer than today’s... the key is to keep the pace down, especially early on. Have a wonderful week 6.

Congratulations to you sl42 on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, as UnfitNoMore says be careful about runs 1 and 2 of week 6 which have interval walks and runs, they have caught out some people after the non stop 20 minutes of run 3 of week 5, but if you take them especially slowly you will be 🆗.

Thanks, I’ll remember your advice although I can’t go any faster than slow at the moment !

Brilliant. Well done! I've just completed week 2 and looking ahead that's the run that looks the scariest.

Your post will help me to get through it, thank you 😀

Good luck, if I can do it, you certainly can. Just believe in yourself and go for it. Let me know how you get on.
