So from W6R3 Laura has been encouraging me to go fast on the last minute - the first time I heard this I laughed - but I tried it the last time W7R2 and felt great afterwards.
Just wondering if anyone else really goes for it in the last minute and if it actually does build stamina?

Sometimes, I remember when running run 3 of week 5 I speeded up a little on the last 50 metres🏃♀️, of course with that run I felt very pleased with myself as it was the first time ever that I had ran that long, 20 minutes, congratulations to you on completing run 2 of week 7, not long now until you graduate.
I’m the same... I’ve just finished Wk7R3 and I’ve speeded up a little bit ( and I mean a little bit) in the hope that’s putting me in good stead for week 8... who knows but it makes me feel better. Mind you I’ve struggled a bit this week. Not long now Thommo
I love trying to speed up at the end of a run (not always that successful), it gives you that last blast feeling and you finish really out of puff. It doesn't matter though because you have finished! It just makes me feel good to give all that I have left in the tank at the end. A job well done 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
During week 7, I really went for it in the last minute, pushing as hard as I could. I loved the feeling at the end; it left me on a real high. Also, it may be psychological, but I found the 28 mins of wk8 less of a challenge than other weeks 🤷🏻♀️
