So this is weird- I am in W2 (again) and I realise there is a pattern- I start the run, and for the first 20 minutes I'm like 'Ouch, this is hard, ouch, I feel all limpy' and then suddenly I am into the last run and I'm like 'Oh this is nice!' and then suddenly it's over. What's that about?!

First 12 minutes of my former 5 - 10k runs were always "work", then things would smoothen out and get fun
Use the search box to find posts on the Toxic Ten, or google it. For some it's less than ten and for some of us it's the full twenty🙁

I feel this has happened to many of us... even now I can have been running for over half and hour and then suddenly... I could go for ever... no effort
Well done you... keep it slow and steady
