This is the second time using the couch to 5k. The first time I stopped following after a few runs as I felt I could go further than the programme required. Big mistake as I soon lost motivation found excuses and stopped running. After a year or two of letting myself go I've decided to take control and get off my butt. I have stuck to the programme this time and thank goodness I have. It's not been easy, and battled through shin splints but I love going out for a run now. In all weathers, Hail included! I have lost 2 stone in 2 months, mixture of diet change and running with this app.
