At around the two minute mark a slight pain began in one knee. Having in past had to take six weeks out due to knee impact injury I was torn between stopping or pushing on.
I chose the latter but slowed down and promised myself I'd stop if it got any worse......by the first 5 min time check the pain had gone!!
It wasn't my most enjoyable run.....too much Sunday roast yesterday maybe. But I did it, albeit at a slower pace than of late.

Unfortunately I'm only too well aware of that. Not sure where it came from, it certainly wasn't from last weeks runs....I had no pains at all; if anything I had to hold myself back from running on my end of week weekend two days off.
In trying to configure my 30 min run I somehow I ended up with a descent within the first minute; not a long one but perhaps too much for the beginning of the run. But it had certainly gone before the 5 min blog from Jo and totally forgotten when I chose a short but sharp incline to avoid a group of people standing chatting which did give me the best part of ½ Km of a lovely slightly downward run.
Obviously I slowly ran back up again….more than once.
