Did my first 30min run yesterday. It was a bit of a struggle because it was so humid but got through it slightly soggy.

Then had to do the morning ’wake up’ routine at school. The kids asked for Jo so that’s what I gave them. Of course as the teacher you have to lead by example...

The inside side of my knee is so sore today I cannot do my cardio workout and not sure if I’ll be able to run tomorrow. It’s my first injury these past eight weeks I was doing so well.

Grrrrrrrrr

I will see how it feels in the morning but if it’s at all sore I will wait another day. A little frustrating but I should still be able to graduate, for the second time, this week.

Jo Wicks has a lot to answer for.

I tried it once soon after the start of lockdown as everyone from my office was talking about it.

Never again. 🥵

I couldn't walk properly for 3 days! ☹️

I did this run on Monday so only 2 runs left now for both of us - I am sure you will be fine but better to wait than risk it.

Graduate badges here we come!🎉😃

His PE sessions are certainly not for beginners 🤣🤣

So exciting though I have been here once before but this time round it means more to do it properly. I will think about a late evening run and if I have any niggles at all during the day I won’t run.

Go us!!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll know to give that a miss then!

Definitely overdid it. Not running today, at school and it’s still sore just walking around. Hopefully I can run tomorrow then I will re graduate this week if not it will be next week.

Hope your knee settles down quickly. Good luck for graduation, but don't force it if it hurts. The running will still be there for you if you have to rest up a little.
