Well I cannot believe I'm writting this but is did it! I not only did the 20mins asked of me,,, I smashed out an extra 7mins! I picked a trail run and I luvd it! Trail made me change up my steps which helped with muscle tiredness ,I said on my Facebook group (dare I say it) I think I might be a trail runner! I set my Samsung health app instead of using the c25k app as it kept crashed on run2-3 so I didn't hav to worry about intervals
Try the program
Take it slow
Believe in the program
And most importantly believe in YOURSELF!!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K but don't overdo the running, I wouldn't want you to get injured, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾.
Thank u! ,I've worried this whole time about injury :/ ,,touch wood im doin ok ,I've followed the program religiously with the rest days etc Every run I've had has had a niggle here an there , I didn't feel anything this time ! Absolute freedom nearly (compared to the other wks lol) ,hav read a bitty about w6r1 an its intervals haha I hope I feel as good with I do my run hah 😅 😄 x
Well done!!! I have the same to do today, from 8mins to 20 seems a big jump but up to now i have faith in the program.Hopefully i too will have success later
Good luck with going from 8 mins to 20. It's eminently doable (I've done it twice now). The app prepares you physically for making this step, as long as you have maintained those rest days. It's a nice day to do a run in as the sun is shining. I went out earlier and it was very cold (I'm on Wk9R1) and am about to graduate for the second time. I've followed the app religiously never doing more and never less.
U will do it! , its not that big a leap , u have already ran 2x8mins with a brisk walk in between, ( I walk fast than I run lol) so it was just the same as uve already done ,it just seems like alot but its all mental , goodluck I really am that person "if I can do it so can u"! X
Wow, well done you. I’ve just managed w5r2. If someone had told me a few weeks ago that I would be running for 2 x 8 minute blocks I wouldn’t have believed it. Good luck with your next run.
