I can’t believe I actually did it and have to admit it really was fine, maybe not enjoyable but certainly not a torture. The feeling at the end is amazing and I actually felt I could have carried on a little more.

Well done you! I was dreading that first 20 minute run, but found it easier than expected. After that the longer 25 minute runs don't seem so daunting. I've got 1 run of week 7 left.....
Thanks Mike! Yes, I feel the same now, think it’s more psychological, the dreaded 20 min. Agree, 25 doesn’t frighten me now but let’s see!! Well done btw, wk 7, you’re nearly there. 👍🏼
Oh, it so did 🤩. Amazing how the program prepares you but it’s hard to imagine 20 mins being doable without a break so soon. I’m sure I’ve never run for that long in my life!!Thanks for your encouragement again. 😘
Yes, we can! I ran the whole extra 5 minute cool down period on the end of the 8 minute run today to see if I could push myself, so did 21 minutes of running today and still felt ok. Feeling hopeful about run 3! Who is this strange person who’s taken over my body?!
