Week 9 Run 3 Done!!

Wow! I did it, I'm so pleased with myself and although it's still hard, it's all been worthwhile. Starting in the winter was tough with very muddy paths on my local park, not to mention the snow! Running for 30 minutes non-stop seemed a big ask 9 weeks ago but it really is possible. I invested in some Merrell waterproof trail running shoes and am so glad I did as coming home with wet feet from the park was not pleasant. I do nearly all my running on the grass as I find this is much better for my joints - pavements are so hard for my 62 year old bones! So, what next? I've donwloaded another app called Runkeeper and will continue running for 30 minutes 3 times a week for now, you never know at some point I may reach 5k, at the moment I'm doing 3.7 k, which is fine with me. It's all about stamina and endurance not speed or distance. Thanks for the journey and good luck to everyone.
