Absolutely delighted to get wk one in the bag. I leaped out of bed this a.m got into my running gear before I had a chance to talk myself out of it 🤣 Feel 200% better to be out moving my body. I have been shielding through this pandemic but I’m determined since getting my vaccine to get out & complete this programme beside going bonkers indoors. The weather in London was so mild instead of feeling jaded I felt alive post run !!!! Happy Days

Congratulations on completing week 1 of C25K, so glad that you are enjoying your running, onwards and upwards to week 2, remember that you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck for your running journey with C25K 😊 🏃🏾
AlMorr I think I should plough on to wk 2 Monday. I have a friend who repeated wks but I feel I should keep going unless I feel like I cannot physical push myself through a run & then I do the sensible thing & repeat runs... I do look at all of these speedy peeps in the Park & wonder how long it took them to get so fast 🤣
Well done!!!

Excellent news. I am so pleased for you. Now, may I make one tiny suggestion? After your run and your stretches, do as the wonderful David Attenborough suggests and spend 10 minutes just doing nothing more that being quiet. Sitting and listening to the world. Phone off, no music and just yourself and the world, whatever it may be. I have tried it and after you stop feeling so self conscious [people really are not that interested in each other] you will become aware of so much more to add to the zinginess of the post run moment.Enjoy being out and look to the Spring and Summer runs to come.
We are with you every step of the way.
