A light blanket of snow on the footpath and -3°c this morning, any normal person would have stayed in bed!
I put an extra layer on and my hi vis vest (I work in construction) and did my run. At this time of morning the roads were dead so I ran on the edge of the road facing any oncoming traffic so I could get onto the path if I needed to just like walkers do on country roads. I didn't see another soul!
My breathing and pace is definitely something I need to work on. Its only my second run so I have plenty of time to build up my stamina.

Well done for braving the weather ckp82, early morning runs are definitely the best, throughout C25k all my runs were early morning ones, the air quality is a lot better and as you say the streets are all yours. You’ll find your stamina will increase and your recovery rate too over the coming weeks. 👍🏃♂️
