I just want to say a huge thank you for the support on my first post! I actually think without it I may have decided that running wasn’t for me. But this morning I did my second run, after 2 days rest which my legs certainly needed 😂
As a lot of you mention this run was easier than the first and I thought the time went quicker too! I started my warm up walk and saw two magpies 🤗 then my cool down just so happened to coincide with ‘Whatever It Takes’ by Imagine Dragons playing! Which if you haven’t heard before has the lyrics ‘I do whatever it takes, cause I love the adrenaline in my veins’ 🙌🏼✨

Support is what we do best here on the forum L-A! Well done on starting this crazy plan - don’t forget to keep posting so we know how you’re doing! Well
Well done Leanne-Amy, Music helps so much I find, something with a good beat to it. I’m on week 8 and the most important thing I’ve learnt is to pace yourself, it’s more important to keep going than to run fast, and to take steady deep breaths as you run. Good luck with your journey.
That's a beautiful photo, L-A, what a lovely place to run. Well done on getting out there again, I reckon you're on the way now. Also you've had a sign from the magpies, so that's that! (I'm off now to track down Imagine Dragons to see if I like them)
What a beautiful place to run, in the beginning you have your goal and it’s great to share your progress and somewhere along the way you find you just have to run because it’s what you do and you are encouraging new runners on here. This is a great positive place to share our running progress and stories
Thank you! It is really is encouraging to see so many other people going through the same process but at different stages! 🥰
What a journey you are on and what a story you will tell. So many great moments for you to come (with challenges too) but keep on and never give in because you'll feel epic at the end.
