I am over the moon to have finally completed the program - what a great feeling to have the little cheers right at the end on the app, and to see all of those yellow circles ticked! I managed 4.34k which I’m also pretty pleased with.
Thank you to everyone here for their support, this really is such a positive place. There were many times I didn’t feel like doing it, but would have a look on here, then out the door I’d go. Yay! 😀🎉

Sounds a good idea, i know i enjoyed just doing what felt right after graduation, c25k is a brilliant programme, and really works, a good introduction to this running malarky!!! ☺
Yay well done! 🎉🍾 Isn't it amazing aren't we all amazing! Maybe think about consolidating 30 mins for the next 2/3 weeks. There's plenty of ideas on here about what to do next. Happy 🏃♀️💥🏃
Ah thank you Blossom 🌺. Funny you should say that, have just been sitting here thinking about it. I’m going to run some different routes just to spice it up, but I won’t be too bothered about distance yet. I want to nail the 30 minute habit! Mind you, there’s a really horrible hill near me which is about half a mile in length and I think trying to do this would be good training on its own! And yes, we are all amazing 🎉👏🏼😀
Good plan. I did hill intervals this morning! Check out the Nike Run Club app. There are lots of guided runs and inspiration on there, I use it a lot ☺️
Congratulations to you!I did my first consolidation run this morning to Laura’s Stepping stone podcast. I found it quite tough and I think I’ll stick with a few free runs to familiar tunes for now! Having said that it’s very helpful I imagine if you need a little push! Anyway very well done!
I think stepping stones, stamina and speed are quite tough for a beginner. I struggled when I attempted them during consolidation. However I tried speed again recently and enjoyed it as I felt a lot stronger. Worth dipping in and out of. ☺️
The way I interpret the post c25k advice is that it is recommended to just continue running the 30 minutes possibly even by listening to the wk9 runs without any attempt to improve on anything for at least 3 weeks. After that then work on improvements (eg stepping stones) if you want but only on 1 run a week with the other 2 being like wk9 runs. Of course I could have this completely wrong as I'm new to this and we can all do our own thing anyway but that's the plan I'm following.
