I did it. I had my doubts in the beginning but grew more confident with each run, each new week. So here I am at the end of week 9 and a Graduate My Husband always maintains that you never see a jogger with a smile on their face, you would have this morning. It'll probably be there for about a week.
Anyone who has any doubts about the efficacy of the C25K course, give it a go, it really does work. Read ALL the information that there is provided here, take it nice and easy (It's not a race) and just go out there and enjoy the feeling of freedom and exhilaration that running gives you. You wont regret it.
Huge congratulations Crimson51 - excellent news. Well done and keep smiling ๐๐๐๐. (ps - I'm not such an early bird!! Will be going for my graduation run around 10am!)
Amazing - well done! Thanks for posting during your c25k as it has been great to read your updates as I have always been a week behind you! Three more runs left for me!

Well done! - what an awesome feeling and so great to hear how much you've enjoyed it! I love this forum too it has been my 'go-to' place when I need a little confidence boost.
Did you tell your husband yet?
Thank you, I'm still walking on air
I haven't told the husband yet. He's not been too good for most of Lockdown, worried, panicking and becoming quite depressed. as well as bursitis in his hip. I knew if I said I was going to do it that I would just add to his unease. He is coming out of it now, more so since he had his first vaccine jab and we go for a little walk around the block most days now. This is great as he had rarely been out at all.
I will tell him and I know he'll be happy (and surprised). I shall choose my moment xx
I think youโll like it, I felt a bit lost when I completed C25k, I quite enjoyed the encouragement of a coach in addition to my playlist, so the NRC App, was just right, you can choose what you fancy doing. If you need to stop, it automatically pauses the workout for you and resumes it when you start running again. Also at the end of the coached run you can press the arrow and continue the run if you want it to last longer, and it will tell you the extra time and distance. ๐
Thank you for that, I've just had a look and installed the app so we'll see how it goes on Wednesday x
