Like so many of you before me - I cannot believe that I have got here... A fat, fifty-seven year old (previously) exercise-phobic who did not even own a pair of trainers 9 weeks and one day ago! Did every run and finished them all, despite the doubts and fears, but at the risk of coming over all Gwyneth at the Oscars, I couldn't have done it without my running mate, my daughter, who was with me every step of the way. Actually, she was ahead of me for most of them, but seeing her disappear into the distance was excellent motivation! And of course, thank you to you wonderful people on the forum - I have read and re-read the tips and found them so useful and really appreciate the supportive and helpful responses every time I have posted!
So a little bit lighter, a whole lot fitter, now I just have to keep going...
