Take that, gremlins!!

After having a week's break due to illness, the gremlins were really strong this morning. I really struggled to get up and put my kit on because my confidence had gone and the gremlins were trying to get me to give up. Somehow I found myself heading out of the door into a beautiful peaceful sunrise. The run was fine and I actually felt stronger than ever. Recovery time really quick too. So TAKE THAT YOU STUPID GREMLINS!! Winners never quit and quitters never win 😁

Well done you!!

Nothing like a runner and a beautiful morning for kicking those Gremlins into touch!

Thank you x

I struggle with lack of confidence anyway and some days just getting out of the house to do anything is a big achievement for me. I am learning that although I am a full time carer for three family members, the person I find hardest to care for is me..so I am making baby steps towards changing that for good.

Thank to again for your support it means a lot x

Honestly... I can tell you, that your post..the first I read this morning cheered me..more than you may think.

Loving care for others, often means that you neglect yourself; simply try to remember, that you, are your biggest asset...be kind to yourself, and celebrate every small occasion when you are the priority :)

You will get there, as you say, small steps....make them slow and steady, but light too. They are carrying you forward wonderfully :)

Hi, your posts are strong and brave. I'm on week 6 now and I started because I need to lose weight. By the 3rd week I was doing it just for me as it makes me feel so much better about myself. I do early mornings too. Keep going and keep looking after you 😁
