Third times a charm?

W6r2....after starting week 6 again on Wednesday, I did run 2 again today, or at least I tried to... I did the first 10 minutes and was half way into the 2nd and started walking. My legs felt heavy and my breathing was really laboured. I paused the app, walked for a minute and then carried on to the end of the run.

I’m really disappointed that I stopped, even move so because I’m not really sure why I didn’t just carry on...

I’m happy to start again with week 6, in the long run (no pun intended) I think it will make future runs easier but it’s very frustrating!

Quick question though? If you fail a run, do you just repeat that particular run or do you start the whole week again?

You can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, if don't complete a run (never use the word fail) have a extra day off running and try it again running a little slower.

It's up to you, but my first time round doing C25K I repeated specific runs rather than starting the week again - doing R1 and R2 comfortably, then not quite making R3, and going back to start all three of them again would personally be demotivating for me, but if it would help you more by consolidating the week, then go for it!

I think you're so close to ticking it off, take a rest day then give it another go the day after. Remember the main thing - take it slow when you start, and slow down more if you need to. I reckon you'll smash it next time!
