Week 2 complete; hills and all

Had a tough set of runs this week, my knees and quads have been twinging a little (but not hurting - I'm being cautious not to push it) and I somehow managed to pick routes where each 90s run interval started at the bottom of a hill, almost every time. D'oh.

Several occasions I wanted to start walking before Sarah M chimed in, but I pushed myself each time and managed to complete all the intervals.

Feeling good, but maybe I'll avoid the hills as much in Week 3...!

It's good to find a mix or routes if you can - some (gently) hilly, some undulating, some flat - it helps spreads the impact on your muscles and joints. But I know what you mean - hills have an uncanny knack of appearing just at the wrong time; didn't stop you though!!!
