Woo hoo - completed week 2. How can 30 extra seconds feel so long???
By the end of Run 3 though I felt pretty good. Recovery time seemed to be getting a bit faster and the runs seemed to be a bit easier. There were times that my legs felt like tree trunks but I managed to complete all the runs.
I'm a little bit apprehensive about starting week 3. I mean if the extra 30 seconds this week seemed a challenge I'm not sure how I am going to feel about 3 minutes. As the saying goes "if the mind is strong, the body will follow" and my mind can be pretty stubborn at times π
Happy face on the app at the end of each run π

Ha ha ha thanks!!! I try and take the picture at the end of my walk when I've cooled down a bit. It takes a while to get one where it looks more like a smile than a grimace ππ
Well done - I am also at the same stage, did w2r3 this morning and am (amazingly!) starting to enjoy running. Still on the treadmill though, not brave enough to venture outdoors just yet Looking forward to starting week 3 on Wed/Thurs.
Well done. Doesn't matter where you do it, as long as you're doing it. I look at other runners when I am out and about and wonder how they look so calm and relaxed when I'm huffing and puffing my way through 1 and half minutes!! I'm sure I'll look all breezy like them soon π
I'm in the same place as you too! I'm attempting W3R1 tomorrow. I'm looking forward to challenging myself- I've never run for three mins even when I was a regular- I always alternated walking & running. Keep us posted on your progress. We can do this!
