Week 2 health hurdles conquered - week 2 complete!

So after the high of completing week 1, on the day of week 2 first run my pain condition decided to play up. After feeling disheartened I thought sod it, this is going to happen at times. I therefore thought I'd try run 1 and see how I go as anything better than nothing. I managed the whole run and it didn't cause my condition to worsen. Just goes to show positive thinking and determination can help battle hurdles. I've now finished week 2 and eager to see how my body tackles week 3 as it's surprising me each week.

It's all about positive thinking. I completed Wk 8 Run 3 today - so I ran for 28 minutes. I changed my route slightly today and that help me a lot. Keep going - well done!

Yeah - who knew. My husband is 62 years old and has never run in his life. We cannot believe that we are officially runners. You will be too!!

Go really slowly and drink lots of water the night before. We always drink a pint of water before we head out on the run, then another pint when we get back home. It really helps with aching muscles.
