Wouldn’t have believed it 7 weeks ago but I just slogged for 25mins... I’m not fast, and the first 2-3 mins my head always tries to sabotage me, but eventually I get my head down, switch off, focus on the music and just keep going...not sure I will ever reach 5k but that’s ok - my goal was to be able to run for 30mins 3 x a week and I’m definitely going to do that !
Week 7 run 1: Wouldn’t have believed it 7 weeks... - Couch to 5K
Week 7 run 1
Well done, that is amazing. I am not fast either but that is ok. Just think how far you have come from week one!
Well done you 👌🎉 great way to start a Sunday morning ☀️
And yes , just to be able to go out and run round my local area for 30 mins will do me
( bearing in mind this running thing is quite seductive so who knows 😂🏃🏻♀️)
Have a fab Sunday 😃
Yay. Well done. That’s amazing. So glad u enjoyed it. W7 is a revelation I think 🥳🥳🥳
I start W8 next week. 🤞🏼
That's great ! Well done 👍👏👏👏
Of course there is no rush or pressure to get a 5k but I'm sure you will when the time is right , for now just concentrate on your last runs and enjoy them 😁👍
Wow. That’s fantastic Caroline!!! Well done. Week 7! I am so delighted for you.
You're amazing, well done! I have to admit I was waiting for your post...an inspiration!
thank you x
Week 7 club ! No more walking rests ..I’m joining tomorrow ! Remember the first week 1 run I never thought 25 mins was possible !!! My aim also was a three times a week 30 mins , I am nowhere near 5k but my only pace is snails pace ! 🐌 x
Hey I'm not fast either, but the fact that I can do anything for 25 minutes without stopping is nothing short of a miracle. I'm like you, those first few minutes are the ones when I feel most like stopping and going home. Eventually I just settle down though and keep going 🏃♀️🏃♀️
I hope to eventually hit the 5k post graduation, but for now it's pretty amazing to be doing what we are doing hey 😁💪
Well done! Don’t trouble yourself with pace and distance - focus on the fact that you are running without stopping for longer and longer each week. Take THAT as the ‘win’ rather than thinking about hitting 5k or what your kph is - those are unimportant at this point.
Your confidence that you will achieve graduation is refreshing. There’s a lot of fretting and doubting on this forum, I was guilty of it myself, so your positivity is lovely to read. ☺️
Well done you 😃. My head and legs try to sabotage me for 8 mins lol.
No way I will be running 5k but like you my goal is to be able to run 30 mins 3 x a week.
Amazing, well done! No need for speed but keep a comfortable pace and keep on keeping on. Week 7 Club rock!
I slid a little when I went on Holiday. Need to get back on the programme. Will try to pick up where I left off W3R3.
ps you're doin great, I'm well inspired.
