What happens next!?

Good morning everyone. So my partner and I have 2 runs left before graduation which seems absolutely incredible, especially when I think of how I felt week 1! Still run slowly but so happy just running for 30 minutes and the incredible feeling post run. I do love the structure though of the app nd hearing a voice encouraging me and giving me time updates. But what happens next week?? I've seen there is a ยฃ10k app but that seems too much as just want to keep doing what we are doing but a little faster and actually reach the 5k. Is there anything out there with guidance or is the point we are on our own now and need to adapt? Only just joined this site but looks fab. Thanks in advance for any help. ๐Ÿƒโค

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

When you announce your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.

If you cannot wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you will find in the Pinned Posts.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Hi, there isn't a 10k app as such but there is a bridge to 10k forum for graduates of the C25k program ,

There is also a consolidation club which I'm sure the admin will give you details of when you graduate .

The usual idea after graduating would be to consolidate for a few weeks continuing doing what you did on week 9 , be that 5k or 30 minutes, then there are various options, you could do ju ju 's magic 10 plan which is to get you either Running for 1 hour or running 10k, there are speed and stamina podcasts available also .

If you like the structure of the program you could even carry on repeating week 9 using your chosen coach , or there are other free apps that have guided runs for different distances and training needs for example the 'Nike run club' app .

So, many many options !

Hope this helps ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘
