I hope I can get there too! Well done on your achievement and enjoy the feeling of it today!

You should be proud indeed!

It is often a tricky period post graduation as you find out what you want to do next. The usual advice is to consolidate the three runs of 30 mins each week. There are stepping stones podcasts or you can start the programme again with intervals of slow running and faster running. You could start increasing distance to get to 5k (if you haven't got there yet) or to 10k; sticking to 10% max increase each week or work on your speed.

Most of all enjoy yourself 🏃‍♀️👋👍😊

I have downloaded the podcasts and I did wonder about repeating the programme again as I haven't made it to 5k yet I don't know which to do 🙈Xx

Just wait..... this is a great journey.. enjoy it and go with it... the rest will follow:)

For me it has been joining Park runs. I go every week I am free at that time and then I have to do at least one other run in the week to make sure my Park run time doesn't get slower.

About to try stepping stones podcast this week as I am a few weeks past graduation and I think it's time to vary it a bit.

Hi there,

After graduation I was a bit intimidated by all the 10k apps so I've gone rogue! My friend suggested just running and see what happens. I've been doing that and found my stamina is doing really well. I'm now starting to look into 10k apps. I found it a relief to take a break from the app and just go for it. I wasn't ready straight after graduation. I am really loving the running now- can't say I always did before. You've come so far, keep going... and go for it!!

Hey Bluebirdrunner did a fab post last week about post graduation and consolidation. Check that out I found it helped me focus as I looked at the stepping stones stuff and it seemed a little advanced for where I felt I was. But also set yourself running reminders and stick them in your diary just doing that helped me stick to the 3 times a week. Good look post podium....

Just get to that podium... :)

Then loads of consolidation runs... different routes and different runs... then maybe the C25K + podcasts....then after a few weeks.. so much more to think about:)
