Hi. I've been running since January after deciding that I needed to do something proactive and get fitter. I'm heading towards the big 50 and knew it was time to take action with my fitness level. Last week I graduated (after a bit of a gap in the challenge and then having to go back and repeat a few weeks) and it felt amazing. Such a personal triumph which I never thought I could achieve. But here I am. Officially a runner!! Yay! I've got the buzz of running now and I also have a partner to run with - which has made a huge difference to each run!
But what do I do now? I've continued to run since graduating and I try to reach as near to 5k as I can on every run but I'd like to run further. I've looked at Apps for reaching 10k but there are so many! I'd welcome any advice on a good App to help me reach 10k.
To all you new runners out there who think they can't get to 5k I'd just like to say YES YOU CAN!! Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and it is totally doable, even if it takes you 6 months...or more.
All the best 🎖️

There is a Bridge to 10k forum on this same site. The people over there are very helpful. I have heard that there will be a group starting soon using juju's bridge to 10k plan. I don't think itnhas an app but it does have a plan : )
