Woke up feeling really determined with Missy Elliot whispering in my ear that it was time to Get Your Freak On. Couldn't have agreed more!
Looked out the window to see how the weather was doing and Kate Bush reminded me that one day I'd be Running Up That Hill.
Pretty soon after that I was pounding the pavements and Sister Sledge had me totally Lost in Music. Realised I was probably starting off a bit hard for this particular run (and week!) and Camel Phat & Christoph reminded me I needed to Breathe.
Four weeks ago I never would have believed I would be doing this but my doctor, Duke Dumont insisted that actually, running can be good Therapy. I'm inclined to agree now that I've reached this stage.
Got into the second of the three intervals and passed Ed Sheeran coming the other way who stopped to comment 'Oooh, look at the Shape of You!' I smiled, remembering what my friend Florence & The Machine had said. 'Yes Ed, my Dog Days Are Over!'
Sanjeev interrupted on cue to remind that I had a final five minute interval, I really wasn't sure what my legs and lungs had in me at this point and was feeling a little emotional.
'Don't cry' said Guns & Roses.
'It's all going great' said Jack Savoretti. You're nearly Home!
Sanjeev intervenes again to remind me I've sixty seconds left on the clock and just as I round the corner to head into the final furlong, I see Ed and Stormzy up ahead shouting as loudly as they could 'Own It Burkey'!
And I did!!
U2 can be The Miracle you know you can be, just as long as you stick to your Journey and Don't Stop Believin'.
As Huey Lewis & The News once said, The Power of Love is awesome and I feel it every time I log on here. Couldn't do it without you lot.
Once again I'm a Lonestar who is Amazed at the progress I am making :)))
