It's all about "the heckler"....

So I was chatting with CaroleC last night and she asked me if I had had any "hecklers" yet....you know...the person who just can't keep their mouth shut when you wheeze by?

I said, "Wouldn't you think my grey/white hair and my beetroot face would stifle their urge to voice their envy of my position.?" (lol)

Apparently not, because after I thought about it a second I remembered the person (not sure what, as I was afraid to lift my eyes from my path for fear of tripping) who just couldn't resist offering an opinion.

And I would have had a good retort too, except there was barely enough oxygen in my lungs to keep me conscious, must less mumble any response.

Happy running, all.......

I have had a few "well done"s and a few cyclists telling me it would be easier on a bike!

I've had a few people call out 'chop chop' as i run past! I always save a tiny puff of breath in which to wheeze out a choice retort!

Hasn't happened often but when it has, I've just laughed.
