What is it?
The plan is 8 weeks long, and each week includes a long run that gets progressively longer, a 5k or 30 minute run, and a shorter run that can be recovery or an interval session.
I will post the plan outline and some suggested strength routines at the outset, and then I will be posting every 2 weeks to see how you are getting on, give support and share one another’s progress.
Extras:
This plan will be including a couple of fun challenges along the way, and also the opportunity to join a zoom call to chat about your progress, ask questions, share tips etc…. more on that nearer the time.

Ooh, this could be great timing for me - I graduated C25K yesterday with my second 5k run and was planning to start this plan after a few weeks consolidation. Company on the journey would be lovely!
Hi Ju-Ju, I did the plan a year ago and built up to half marathon. I’ve lost my mojo during lockdown so need to start again. I’d love to rejoin to gain longer run times xx
Ooh yes please. I've been consolidating for 9 weeks now and feel I need to push myself out of my comfort zone. I'd be doing the time version, not made it to 5k yet. One day🤞🌞

Yes please! I'd already been looking at the plan and wanting to do it next. I was going to start a bit earlier but would be good to do it alongside others so I'll wait and join you then.
Yes please! I’m hoping I will be ready. Have done 4 weeks of consolidation runs now usually between30-40 mins three times a week. Would have to do the time plan as don’t think I’ll ever make the distance! Would love to be part of this new challenge
Hello juju, I’m hoping to hop back on to the Magic Plan again soon, but I will Probably start a little bit earlier so that I can get to 10k for the virtual Vitality 10000 at the end of October .
This will be my 3rd time folks, I can definitely recommend it. Have fun and slow down for the long run. 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️
Add me please. I have just started the distance but I think I will need help and motivation to move on further and being part of this, I believe, would give me that extra spurt of energy and mojo to keep pushing forward.
yes please, I am ready for a bit more structure. Since graduating C25K in mid July I have been managing about 3 runs pw, very slow still but not too bothered about speed. I have managed 5K twice but it takes about 50 minutes and have done 60 minutes once. I mostly run off road in a hilly country park and my speed is greater if I stick to flat paths (but more boring). I still use the week 9 podcast with Laura's encouragement and praise in my ears!
Hello,the next one is likely to be Jan 2021 You could always join later in the plan and then carry on after. People are often on different weeks etc...
Graduated 31/07/20 and have done consolidation for 3 weeks since (1 week off through injury). I do 2 x 30 mins and 1x 5k (which takes 43 - 44mins) each week.
Do you think I’m ready for this or shall I keep doing what I’m doing for a while longer and sign up next time ?
I’ve been holding off to saying Yes to this due to a few injuries recently. But reading so many positive posts has given me the inspiration to go for the Magic 10 in September! I graduated C25k in July and have run every 2-3 days since (every other day doesn’t seem to give my body enough time to recover). I’m really keen to progress now & need some guidance and virtual running buddies. I’d love to join you! 😍
Hello.... great questions! The idea is to follow the structure of the plan in any shape or form that feels comfortable to you. You can then post about your runs, or comment on the posts I will put up every two weeks. There will also be an opportunity to join a zoom call if you have anything you would like to share or ask about the plan. I hope this is helpful?
Blimey, the 4th is today! I've been consolidating all year so ready for a 10k challenge. Have run at least one 5k a week for some months and up to 90 minutes on one occasion when everything just fell into place. Please sign me up ju-ju-
Would love to start this, even though already on over a week catch up!
Graduated a while ago and just been doing 5k, 3 times a week, did manage a 7k on Saturday (longest ever run, well there was a little walk !) so would be good to have a bit more focus
Hi there, I'm running to this plan but I'm little slow. I run depending on when i get time after my studies. I ensure I run three times in a week. So week 1 is ticked off this Friday 09/11.
I'm a little late but would like to join the party. I have been doing 30m consolidation runs x 3 week, for about eight or nine weeks. I seem to manage about 4.8km in the 30m.
I’ve just graduated C25K today (Yay!) Definitely need to consolidate for a while and thinking Jan might be a good time to begin your Magic Plan. Just wondering if you would be starting another one then or at some other point? Thanks
