Hello everybody, my name is Juju and you will mostly find me over on Bridge and Marathon. Like you I started my running life here doing C25k. When I finished I really needed some structure to get me to 10k, so I have put together this plan alongside the other admins.
If you are a graduate and are have consolidated running 5k then you might like to join me for the next 10 is the Magic Number 10k plan . I’m on holiday in Crete and the pic is one of the amazing sunsets here..... so just to summarise what we will be doing:
8 week plan to get you from 5 to 10k with consolidation weeks as well.
Each week I will be posting a strength exercise that you can do at work, at home, in the supermarket, in the loo..... designed to fit in with life!
A cut out and keep medal at the end.
Print off with the plan on to stick on your fridge.
So, if you are interested I will start on the 2nd of November. Please add your name to the post on Beyond where I will be posting the runs: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto... will be having a list of names on the post to hold you to account!!!
Let’s do this and have a lot of fun too....

Yes please !! me again, back off the IC. I should have consolidated my runs nicely by Nov 2nd. I redid C25k and yesterday ran for 39 mins and 5k. Going to try to do 30 mins alternate days till beg Nov and then off we go again!!! 😁
I heard way too much good about your plan. I am in week 8, and not sure if I manage to finish the C25K. But as I have my hopes high, I would love to join and try out your magic 10k. I am not sure if I am short and fast runner type, 10k type, or future marathoner... I know running is good for me, both to be out there improving my immune system and mentally, so I will keep doing it. I like guidance of C25K and I am not ready to design my own plan, too much on my head in life. So sign me in, count me in. After graduation, I'll add myself to bridge to 10k. No, not before, my body used to do all sorts of tricks on me to stop me from graduation. So ... focus only on next run, further plan only in the back of my head.
You may prefer to get to 5k and consolidate that distance for a bit? You are most welcome to join, and if you chose to join later, it’s on a rolling plan so there will always be opportunity. Like you, my running is predominately for my mental health and immune system etc, and I have always wanted to get to the point of being fit enough to open the door and do anew adventure each day 😎
Speaking for myself I did about 2 before increasing, but that’s because I had to keep going with a new goal as I get bored really easily.. I think it depends on how you feel and how you are finding 5k?
Yes, please add me. If I won't be able, I'll just politely ask you for temporary removal form the list As I imagine you won't ask me to sll my soul and sign in blood for committing to this
Oh wow didn’t realise that, okay well saw your recent post and yr doing really well. If this starts 2nd Nov it gives us nearly a week to progress 🙌 and graduate 👩🎓 - good luck
2nd/3rd November will be my graduation run. I thought of having next 2 week of gradual increase in time to reach 5k. So officially I would join around 19/11.
I had visited IC once due to tendonitis and now I am taking extra care of myself. I am going slow and if needed even slower. Always warm up exercises, longer warm up walk, long stretching afterwards.
It’s entirely up to you, everyone is different in this respect. For me, I knew after C25k I needed to continue to 10 once I’d reached 5, but I wish then that I had a plan to follow. However lots of folk like to consolidate the 5k distance first. Up to you 😎
Hi ju-ju-, I am new here, graduated from c25k a couple of weeks ago and not yet at 5k but still consolidating. Now I have the goal to be ready for the new round of your plan in Jan! 💪😃
Hi ju ju. Quick question. Do I need to start the 10k right from the beginning or can I start a couple of weeks into it. I only ask as today I ran nearly 6k. What would you advise ?🤗🤗🎃xx❤️
