Boom πŸ’₯πŸ’₯ finally I’ve done it!!

I’ve finally completed the couch to 5k!!! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³ and ran the full distance within 30 minutes. I am so happy! Over six weeks ago I was running every other day with the programme, then I moved house up country. With the move it’s meant I have gone a full week without running, or I have only managed to run once/twice a week due to changes in circumstances. And the country has HILLS which are a killer πŸ˜‚ I am so so so so chuffed I have completed it. For anyone starting the programme, preserve, keep going, keep on pushing, use your mental strength to push you through, as it really is an amazing programme and an amazing achievement. I have never run a day in my life before lockdown and thinking of giving couch to 5k a go, so if I can do it, anyone can! Just believe in yourself and believe in the programme cos it really does work. But the main thing is mental strength, it’s all in the mind πŸ’₯πŸ₯³πŸ™πŸ»πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

Such an amazing feeling! Thank you, I’m managing ten minutes per mile at the moment, which am chuffed with.

Thanks re the badge, I will have a look.

I was meant to write persevere until my post, not preserve πŸ™ˆ

Amazing 8 min per km, well done you! It’s such an amazing feeling isn’t it. And thank you! I was starting to feel a bit deflated after all the effort I’d put in and I haven’t been able to get out much, so am so happy I’ve finally finished the programme! πŸ₯³πŸ₯³

Thank you! It’s all in the mind, as well as physical fitness but if you have strength of mind and an able body, you can achieve it. πŸ€›πŸ»πŸ’ͺ🏻

Thank you! I’ve been doing about 10 minutes per mile for a while now, which I’m pleased with. I was going a bit slower not getting out there as much. You’re almost there, very close! πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ
