That’s it, I’ve just completed C25K!!! When I first started this I hadn’t run since the freezing cold ‘corned beef legs’ days of cross country in high school. I have CFS so wasn’t really expecting to get past Week 2 and I have mostly been in the Miranda Hart school of thought that “running should only be done as a professional or as a child”! Now I am calling myself a runner! 😁 I started this program to help my mental health and done that it has, so I am absolutely chuffed with not only my physical abilities but my mental strength also. So to those of you who are just starting out on this program, you can so do it! And to everyone else who has recently graduated a huge congratulations!! 🏃🏼♀️😁

Keep running, keep smiling.
Wow Glitterjav - so amazing- such a fantastic achievement and such an inspiration. You must be bursting with pride! Such a hero! 🏆🏅
Congratulations! You had low expectations because of the CFS and now you know that this condition can’t stop you, because you are a victory. Celebrate well... enjoy consolidating your achievement and all your future running adventures
Congratulations - a fantastic achievement. You should be so proud of yourself. Will you be sticking around here to keep us updated on your progress in the big wide running world?
Thank you! Yes I’ll be sticking around. My aim is to try and continue with three 30 minute runs each week and hopefully get to 5k at some point! If I ever make it I may attempt a park run. I don’t want to do it until I know I can run the whole thing. How are you getting on?
3 runs to go but the Achilles seems to be holding up. Parkrun number 10 on Saturday.
Are you managing to run the whole 5k?
I did once, which is what put me on the injury couch for 10 days, so I wouldn't advise it (I should have listened to the collective wisdom!!).
The first one, I ran hardly any. After that, followed the programme and then walked the rest.
I'm about 42 minutes on average now so my 5 minute warm up, 30 minute run and 5 minute warm down will have me within a short run from the finish.
Congratulations on ur graduation thats fantastic. Graduate look amazing
