Didn’t like going back over week 9’s podcast on last run, just felt as if I was going backwards, but didn’t quite know where to go next, so didn’t yesterday 🤪. However this morning, decided that I want to be able to just run for enjoyment and so off I went with my watch set to 30mins and no earphones in.
I really enjoyed it, just myself saying good morning to passing dog walkers, listening to the breeze in the trees, just enjoying being out in the fresh Sunday morning air. Went slowly and kept going. Watch said time up 30mins as 4K pinged, so you know what, I just kept going for a little longer and that’s 5K ✅.
I am sure I will get round to setting up a playlist but for today, was happy just running for the enjoyment 🏃♀️

Sounds good! I'm going to have to send my wireless headphones back to be repaired (sound dropping out intermittently) so I was thinking this would be a good opportunity to wean myself off the podcasts and, as you say, just run for enjoyment. They just need to get me through the last two runs of week 9 first!
Well done you ... that is great. I am at the same point and due my second consolidation run but I didn’t go out today as it was sooo hot. I ‘re ran’ the last podcast last time but am also aiming for some independence next run.
I always think that dogs are there to cheer me on my way and always say good morning to them on my run! Every one I see makes me smile 😃. Keep up the good work x

I felt the same. But found it difficult to gauge what I was doing and keep going. Have downloaded Runkeeper. This morning set it to tell me every 5 minutes - time pace and distance. It really helped 35 minutes 4K. Was very happy 😁found it the easiest run I have done. Timings was so useful and kept the motivation going
Well done🎉. It does make a big difference to feel good about a run rather than just endure it doesn’t it. Will have a look at Runkeeper. My watch gave me K notifications but 5mins would be better for me just now (mind you it could be there but I just haven’t worked it out yet 🤔).
