I’m astonished I did it! It’s a great programme - it’s amazing how quickly you build fitness and stamina. But I’ve been very cautious - at 61 and never having done any running before - I followed all the advice. But I am VERY slow and barely reaching 3.5K in 30 minutes. My aim is to do 5K 3 times a week. Look forward to seeing the advice on consolidation and how to build towards that - faster and further!

I can't offer any advice as only graduated a couple of weeks ago - but keep going, and go easy on yourself mentally!!! Some runs will be easier than others, sometimes you'll run for less time - don't beat yourself up about it though! It took a lot of support from others on here for me to realise it, partly due to anxiety and lack of self confidence, but you're a runner!!
Congratulations! And yes the programme is amazing but really it's our bodies that are amazing, the way they change to respond to the new demands of C25k and make us fitter and stronger.
