I’m about to go out for my W3/R3... am procrastinating madly. Just need to do this or that before I leave.. does anyone else feel very trepidatious before going out for their run?

Right..am off now! 😬🙈

Hope the run went well. I know I would be the same so I get up, get changed, have a glass of water and go - no time to think! Works for me!

Assuming you have actually gone......well done.

When you get back, read this post about mental approach healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

A bit of self belief works wonders.........you can do this.

It’s so hard isn’t it. I tell myself, I’m still a bit sleepy / need to wake up a bit / need to drink more water / need to log into my work laptop / any number of things! 😂

The trick is to get your shoes on and be out the door before the sloths of procrastination have had a chance to wake up. A set routine helps.

Totally..!! 💯

IannodaTruffe’s great post below really resonates with me. Fear in any capacity often stems from the unknown and when it comes to this program, I think that’s exactly what sends my mind into overdrive. What if this, what if that..?

I think as each week ends I’ll be asking the forum what I can expect from the week ahead, purely to ease my mind. And my faffing!

Hope you had a great run in the end. I bet it was better than you anticipated 🙂

Yes I actually did really enjoy the third run.. the first was hard. My muscles aches and my legs felt heavy and cumbersome. By the third run, I felt lighter on my feet and got a rhythm going. Thank goodness for music to motivate!
