Went out early for the final run of week 9. No drama and had a comfortable last run with Laura. Will miss her but already have 3 weeks of consolidation planned and she may crop up here and there on the way. Thanks to the admin and my running buddies who post on here for your advice and encouragement. I know it's been said many times but this program really does work if you persevere and the benefits are enormous so hope to see you all in consolidation and beyond.π·ππ

Many, many congrats! It's such a fantastic achievement, you have done something very, very special to look after yourself!!!
Many congratulations fellow Graduate! No drama is just perfect π It really is an amazing achievement ππππππΎπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ Good luck with your consolidation runs π
Yes felt confident after week 5 was over to be honest. Felt that was the watershed week. Next milestone will be the 5k but hopefully will get that done in consolidation. Then Park Runs when they start up again.ππ
We share the same plans! π
Yes we started the same time together. Can't believe how well we've all improved. I'm off blood pressure tablets and have lost 1 stone 6 pounds in the 10 weeks but have also watched my diet. Got 10 pounds to go to get to my fighting weight lolπ Am trying 3 different venues next 3 weeks to mix it up a bit and at each going on a longer slower run to get to the 5k. Am at about 4.2k at the moment over the 30 minutes but hard to tell exactly as up to now have been measuring both warm up/down and run.π
We have improved! Iβm going to mainly stick to 30 minutes - maybe 5 minutes more as I have a way to go. I havenβt been including the walks. Only got to 3.67 K on my best run in Week 9 and plan to get to 4K first. Slowly does it, donβt want to suffer injuries now! π
Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

Keep running, keep smiling.
Great to see your graduation post. Congratulations. Onwards to consolidation!!
A massive congratulations to you for graduatingππ₯³ππΎLooking forward to seeing how your consolidation runs go, all the best of luckπ
Thanks so much. Yes will catch up with you soon in the consolidation clubππ
Yes!! First consolidation run tomorrow for me!π
Mine is on Tuesday. Have you got a plan worked out??
My plan was to do two 30 minutes runs and then one 5k a week, and maybe just repeat that until my 5k time improvesπ Itβs not set in stone but Iβll stick with that for now and see how I get on! How about you, have you got a plan together?π
Yes. Much the same really. Trying a new venue each week where I can get to 5k. Not run 5k yet but upto 5.2k including the warm up/down brisk walks. So I reckon I'm running about 4.2k. So first run is a slow 30 minutes looking over the venue. Next run is 30 mins more at my normal pace. And 3rd run is really slow but going to run to 5k. Doing that for the next 3 weeks at 3 different venues....
That will be good!πThatβs what I did for my graduation run, I purposely ran at a slower pace so I could hit 5k, it really does work as by this point the stamina is there to do itπ
Youβll have to let me know how your 5k run goes!! Iβve just done got back from my first consolidation run and really enjoyed itπ
Great news. I think the key in the next few weeks is to keep the interest going. Went shopping today as a celebration and came back with a pair of proper running shoes so will give them an airing tomorrow πππ
Oh yes definitely! Iβm going to attempt some new routes I think over the next few weeks to shake it up a bitπ ooh nice!! Definitely worth the investment are a good pair of running shoes! I spent a little too much online shopping last night buying some new running clothesπ€£
Fantastic achievement π₯
